Went there for lunch today. Food was luke warm to cold. The servers completely ignored us and didn’t ask us how our meal was the whole time we were there (only when we left). They asked all the older people though throughout their meals. No water was offered even when asked for it. I realise we’re in a tough economy but everything is an add on now (including a basic salad at $7.00). It seemed like they were in a hurry to get rid of us. Overall is sad to see this place go like this as used to be really good. We paid around double to other customers and they got better service. Unfortunately we won’t be back with that said as this used to be our favourite place for lunch and large family dinners.

The food was so yum and the customer service was amazing! The staff made sure we were happy the whole time, and one of the workers even paid for the baby’s fluffy. such a sweet gesture. Definitely one of the best café experiences we’ve had. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic cafe! All four of us were very pleased with our food (waffles, wedges, full breakfast and salt/pepper squid) and nice coffee as well. Then there is the atmosphere, which is amazing. Cozy seating inside and stunning garden seating outside. Most staff were friendly and helpful, there was one lady who was a bit rude but that doesn't speak for everyone. There is also a wee garden to walk around out back, which is also gorgeous. We will be back. In fact, i think it will become a regular spot! It's worth the drive from wherever you live!

Very friendly atmosphere, good menu, and excellent service. We had crumbed fish, chips, and salad. It was cooked and crumbed perfectly, shame no variety of fish. After lunch we had a stroll around the very pleasant gardens. Set off the main road with plenty of free parking . We Will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing experience here at Tawa Glen Cafe! Very lovely and caring staff, and absolutely Devine meals from the chefs! Thank you Tawa Glen, will be back
